You don’t often see “millennial” and “dad” in the same sentence—unless it’s something like “Dad tried to get his millennial to move out of the house.” (Insert massive eye-roll here.) Once again, my friends, Propaganda is here to shatter your millennial stereotypes. Because at Propaganda, where we’re all one big family, we have not one but two full-fledged fathers on our staff. And this being Father’s Day weekend, we wanted to give a shout-out to two guys whose mad dad skills match their approach to their jobs: Do it big. Do it with patience. Do it with heart. And commit, commit, commit. Let us introduce you to Kyle Spencer and I.C. Carrillo, who find motivation, inspiration, and celebration in their kids—and these guys do the same for us.

I.C. CARRILLO, PRODUCTION. THREE KIDS: BRAYDEN, 14, MATIX, 12, AND ISABELLA, 7.

1. What do you like most about being a dad?

I’ve gotta say, all the love they give me! The hugs, the kisses, even just seeing them smile is so satisfying. They make me all gooey inside.

2. What advice would you give for all the new fathers out there?

Patience, discipline, happiness, and more than anything, love. It's very important for kids.

3. Do you have any special plans for Father's Day on Sunday?

For Father's Day we are having a big family barbecue with my dad, his kids, and their kids. It should be a blast—it's always fun when everybody gets together.

4. Is there a family activity that you all like to do together?

When they were younger, it would be the park or the drive-in, but now we all just like hanging out—going to dinner or movies. Just spending time together is the best family activity.

5. What's your favorite memory/moment as a Dad so far?

When I taught all three of them how to fly a kite at the park. Because they were so young at the time, they were amazed when they finally got their kites in the air. It was a lot of work running back and forth, teaching them, but when all three of them had their kites in the air, they were so proud—and I was, too!

KYLE SPENCER, SALES. ONE SON: KAI, 5.

1. What do you like most about being a dad?

Getting to surprise my son! He’s experiencing everything for the first time, so it’s all a great surprise to him. There’s nothing better to me than seeing that joy in his eyes.

2. What advice would you give a new Dad?

Patience! Patience is key. Also, remember that your kids do as you do, not as you say!

3. Are you doing anything special this Sunday for Father’s Day?

Every Father's Day we go out to dinner, and since it’s Dad's choice, it’s always special for me.

4. What are your favorite things to do as a family?

We love to spend our vacations going camping. Our favorite spot is Sequoia National Forest.

 5. What is your favorite moment or memory as a Dad?

My favorite memory is of the excitement I felt when I got to take my son camping for the first time.
